“ALS has been around for many years; however, until we know someone with this disease it is often very vague. This is a debilitating disease with no cure in sight and we need to keep fighting until a cure is found. People with ALS can find themselves trapped inside a body that no longer responds to their normal everyday functions, although their mind is still quite normal. This is obviously not a disease I would have chosen, but the Lord has allowed it in my life for His reason and I will trust Him no matter what. We do not seek pity, but understanding, as many people are uncomfortable around us at different times. Our emotions are quite raw and sometimes we cannot control them. Treat me as you would anyone else and, when I talk funny, just smile and say “What did you say”? It’s ok to smile and chuckle as I often cannot understand myself either!”

We are offering a reusable plastic mug for the event this year. You'll receive each one ordered the day of the event and it will give you 10% off your drinks throughout the day. Mugs and t-shirts will also be available for purchase on the day of the tournament.
All monies raised from the tournament will go directly to benefit the ALS Hope Foundation. Their staff works tirelessly to improvie the lives of those suffering from ALS as well as research and equipment supplied to make lives easier and eventually find a cure for this disease. ALS is a terminal motorneuron disease that leaves it's PALS essentially trapped in their own bodies as their muslces deteriorate but all brain function remains intact. The Hope Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to treat and eventually cure ALS. Our family knows firsthand the reach that this organization has and we look forward to contributing to them again this year.
